Young People - Our Future
Petworth Vision is committed to helping young people reach their maximum potential. We do this by introducing them to local businesses within Petworth and the surrounding areas. They meet business owners who give an account of their experiences running a business and speak to employees to learn more about their roles. This leads to discussions about potential opportunities available when they leave school. The future of Petworth depends on these young people choosing to live and work in the area by recognising what the town has to offer and believing in its vision.
Dare to Dream
Petworth Vision have worked with the Love Local Jobs Foundation since 2017 and we are passionate about the Dare to Dream programme which changes young peoples lives. It offers them an opportunity to change the way they think about themselves, their futures and their place in the world.
Dare to Dream is led by, the long serving radio personality Jack Hayes (Better known as ‘Jack the Lad’ ). Jack is the former host of the Heart FM Breakfast show and is currently on air with More Radio. As a professional speaker, Jack engages with youth audiences in a unique, memorable and inspiring way.
